En effet, parti le 26 février 2016, le Nomade des mers s’est donné comme mission d’identifier, d’expérimenter et de transmettre ces « low-tech », objets qui intègrent la technologie selon trois grands principes : être utile, accessible et durable. Tous les partages d’expériences relatifs aux low-tech ont abouti à faire évoluer l’autonomie à bord du bateau d’une part et d’autre part à faire émerger une myriade d’initiatives individuelles ou collectives, dans des contextes géographiques variés.

Indeed, on 26 February 2016, the Nomad des Mers set out to identify, experiment and transmit these "low-tech" objects that integrate technology according to three main principles: to be useful, accessible and sustainable. All the sharing of experiences related to low-tech has led to the evolution of autonomy on board the boat, on the one hand, and on the other hand brought out a myriad of individual or collective initiatives in varied geographical contexts.

De semaine en semaine, nous accumulons des éléments visuels qui seront rassemblés dans un grand triptyque lors du Festival des savoirs partagés 2016. De nouveau, Joëlle agit comme chef d’orchestre afin de guider les gestes des uns et des autres dans la réalisation du Géant. Au terme des quatre jours du Festival, nous voyons apparaître notre Géant. Au centre, la silhouette bleue du grand blessé, son corps détourné dans un mouvement de repli. Autour de lui se déploient deux ailes d’ange, d’un jaune vif, où se déverse « une corne d'abondance de solidarité », selon l'expression d'un participant, riche en expressions de forces intérieures et de leçons de vie.

From week to week, we accumulate visual elements that will be gathered in a large triptych during the festival of shared knowledge 2016. Once again, Joëlle acts as a conductor to guide the gestures of everyone in the realization of the Giant. At the end of the four-day festival, our Giant appears. In the center, the blue silhouette of the large wounded man, his body turned away in a withdrawal. Around him, two bright yellow angel wings unfurl, pouring out "a cornucopia of solidarity", as one participant put it, rich in expressions of inner strength and life lessons.
